ADRC21 record abstract submissions

The call for abstracts for the 2021 Australian Disaster Resilience Conference has now closed with a record number of more than 170 abstracts submitted.

The Australian Disaster Resilience Conference will take place in Sydney on 18-19 August, discussing the topic Meeting in the middle: community voices and complex choices. The disaster risk and resilience landscape is constantly evolving, and so too are the approaches we take in policy and practice. This year’s conference will provide an opportunity to have a national conversation about local impact, highlighting leading thinking and practice for community engagement in disaster resilience and collaborative decision making to reduce risk.

The Australian Disaster Resilience Conference will run in partnership with AFAC21 powered by INTERSCHUTZ, Australasia’s largest and most comprehensive emergency management conference and exhibition.

Registrations for the 2021 Australian Disaster Resilience Conference will open on 15 March.
