AIDR 2020 online events catalogue

With the majority of AIDR’s professional development events moved online in 2020 due to COVID-19 measures, an extensive collection of free and informative webinars is now available on the Knowledge Hub.

AIDR continued to provide professional development opportunities throughout 2020 by delivering its program of events virtually. Shifting to online events allowed AIDR to continue to deliver disaster resilience knowledge and practical guidance for stakeholders, and facilitated a platform for participants to connect and learn with each other.

Australian Disaster Resilience Conference presents Knowledge Week

The third Australian Disaster Resilience Conference was presented online as Knowledge Week and ran from 24 - 27 August 2020. Knowledge Week explored the theme ‘disaster risk reduction in action: pathways to impact’.

Good disaster risk governance: perspectives from business leaders

In recognition of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, AIDR and corporate2community hosted a panel of business leaders to share their reflections on how good disaster risk governance has changed and enhanced corporate priorities and leadership.
