AIDR handbook featured at Crowded Places Forum

AIDR’s Safe and Healthy Crowded Places Handbook was a key agenda item of the Crowded Places Forum in Adelaide.

In February, the Australia-New Zealand Counter Terrorism Committee, South Australian Police and the government of South Australia hosted a Crowded Places Forum in Adelaide. The forum was for venue owners and operators, event managers, local councils, emergency services and other stakeholders to enhance public safety and resilience.

AIDR Director of Engagements and Projects, Amanda Lamont spoke at the Crowded Places Forum to introduce and explain AIDR’s Safe and Healthy Crowded Places Handbook, a key agenda item of the forum. The presentation was well received with much interest in using and applying knowledge within the Handbook.
