Evaluation demonstrates value of recovery database

The recent evaluation demonstrated that many people see great value in the National Disaster Recovery Monitoring and Evaluation Database and were able to provide very constructive suggestions about improving it as a resource for the sector.

AIDR would like to thank everyone who contributed invaluable feedback to the recent evaluation of the National Disaster Recovery Monitoring and Evaluation Database.

The National Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for Disaster Recovery Programs and the National Disaster Recovery Monitoring and Evaluation Database (NME Database) help people design, contribute to, and make use of quality evaluations to improve recovery programs.

The recent evaluation demonstrated that many people see great value in the database and were able to provide very constructive suggestions about improving it as a resource for the sector. AIDR is now working closely with Emergency Management Australia to implement the recommendations.

Updates to the database are now underway and will be announced in the coming months.
