Window for prescribed burning under climate change scenarios

Date

30 August 2018

One doesn't generally think of Antarctica in the context of prescribed burning, or wildfires in general. However, researchers from the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (ACE CRC), engaged by Tasmania Fire Service, have used climate modelling to investigate the effect of a changing climate on windows for prescribed burning.

This webinar will be presented by Dr Tom Remenyi from the ACE CRC's Climate Futures Team, who will explore insights from the research.
