Australian Emergency Management Library resources available to take home

As part of the Australian Emergency Management Library decommissioning, AIDR has reviewed the collection and is now making items of interest available to the sector.

Recently, The Macedon Digest has been fully documented and catalogued in a single, central location on the AIDR Knowledge Hub.

This brings together issues from 1986 to 1995 (prior to the journal becoming the Australian Journal of Emergency Management), making an important part of Australia’s emergency management history more discoverable and usable for practitioners, researchers, and communities.

As we move into the next stage of the library decommissioning, all remaining materials – including books, journals, CDs and other items – are now available for people to take home.

If there’s a resource you’d like to keep or you’d like an opportunity to come and browse, get in touch and we’ll arrange a suitable time for collection. Otherwise, shipping is available if you’re unable to visit in person
