Big Weather on the Knowledge Hub

AIDR supported the ABC TV Big Weather program by sharing relevant and timely information for practitioners, educators and the community from its extensive online collection.

ABC TV’s Big Weather (and how to survive it) aired over three weeks in October, promoting the need to understand our changing climate, intensifying hazard events, and building preparedness.

AIDR supported the Big Weather program by sharing relevant and timely information for practitioners, educators and the community from its extensive online collection.

The Knowledge Hub now hosts a rich collection of resources, including all three of the Big Weather episodes, the Mt Resilience interactive webAR experience, Big Weather Get Together tools, community preparedness information from all Australian states and territories, and informative short videos produced by Big Weather.

Additional education resources developed by AIDR's Education for Young People Program to support the Big Weather program are available via the AIDR Schools website.

The Big Weather resources are contextualised by two further collections on the Knowledge Hub: Climate and Disasters and Understanding Hazards.

Big Weather (and how to survive it) is now available to watch on ABC iview.
