Decision Making Under Pressure: New Skills for the New Normal Masterclass
In the last year, AIDR has hosted three of these masterclasses, attended by 51 participants.
Participants are introduced to a range of tools to improve their own decisions and those of their teams so they can best meet their obligations and accountabilities as a leader. The masterclass covers psychological safety, high pressure environments, group dynamics, organisational culture, meaning making, unsafe conditions and the impacts of these factors on thinking and decision making.
Feedback on the masterclass found a majority of participants valued the event and the learning content:
- 92% agree or strongly agree the event improved their knowledge
- 92% agree or strongly agree that they would recommend the event
What participants like about the course:
‘It was fast paced, but the detailed workbook helped with note taking and storage. The real-life scenarios also made the course valid.’
‘…It was not a typical course, all of the content was novel and so relevant to my role. The different tools in the workbook will be particularly useful for me.’
‘The interactive nature of it, despite it being online e.g., use of polls - very fun, and the almost instant feedback makes a difference. Dave and Chris' approach made the sessions very enjoyable and relatable.’
