Help us scope a new Disaster Risk Reduction Handbook

About the DRR handbook Delphi 

The Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience is scoping the development of a new Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Handbook.  

The handbook will form part of the Australian Disaster Resilience Handbook Collection and provide contemporary, evidence-informed guidance on disaster risk reduction principles and good practice in Australia. 

As part of this work, AIDR will use the Delphi method to engage stakeholders and subject matter experts in shaping the scope and content of the handbook. The DRR Handbook Delphi will involve three rounds of questionnaires shared with a panel of participants online.

The DRR Handbook Delphi will take place in October and November 2026, launching on the International Day of Disaster Risk Reduction, 13 October 2026. 

To submit your EOI to participate in the Delphi process, please read the Briefing Paper and complete the submission form using the button above. EOIs will be accepted until 12 October.
