Help us scope a new Disaster Risk Reduction Handbook

The handbook will form part of the Australian Disaster Resilience Handbook Collection and provide contemporary, evidence-informed guidance on disaster risk reduction principles and good practice in Australia.

As part of this work, AIDR will use the Delphi method to engage stakeholders and subject matter experts in shaping the scope and content of the handbook.

A Delphi is a structured process for gathering expert perspectives and building shared understanding on complex issues. Participants contribute independently and anonymously through 3 rounds of questionnaires, with feedback shared between rounds to allow views to evolve and converge over time.

The DRR Handbook Delphi is scheduled to take place between October and November 2026.
