The Handbook, companion documents and related resources are now freely accessible on the Australian Disaster Resilience Knowledge Hub.

Katelyn Samson, AIDR Project Officer, presented the key ideas and features of the handbook on day two of the Lessons Management Forum.

The Lessons Management Handbook draws on and complements current and ongoing activity in lessons management and builds on the capability and knowledge of organisations and individuals across the emergency management, defence, disaster risk reduction and resilience sector in Australia and internationally.

The Handbook identifies core principles and suggests frameworks and processes to support the successful implementation of lessons management, which is integral to the continuous improvement of organisational capability, individual learning and our collective resilience
