Having a broad range of participants attend these events is crucial to the ongoing development of national capability.

AIDR is committed to making these events accessible to all those with a vested interest in ongoing disaster risk reduction, resilience and recovery. As such, AIDR welcomes expressions of interest (EOI) from those who may benefit from a concession to enable them to attend.

Please note: concessions are provided as a percentage (%) of the registration fee, a fee will still be payable.

The target audience for this EOI is:

• Students
• Youth
• Emergency Service volunteers
• Community sector volunteers
• those who identify as bringing a distinct voice to these events such as an Indigenous perspective and/or a disability lens, etc.

The following terms and conditions allow for the application and discount process to be fair and allow for all stakeholders to participate.

• Applications will only be considered if the applicant works within Australia.

• All applications will be considered for discounts for all AIDR programs where a participant fee is charged, excluding the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference which has its own sponsored places program.
  
  
• A maximum of two (2) places will be held per event for two (2) discounted registrations.
  
  
• You will receive notification of your application status within 7 business days of submitting the application.
  
  
• If successful in obtaining a discounted price for an AIDR event you will not be eligible to receive a discount price for any other AIDR event (excluding the ADRC).
  
  
• If successful, the discounted price will only be valid for the event obtained for, if the participant is unable to attend the scheduled event, the discount can be carried over to the new date for the same event.
  
  
• The discount cannot be exchanged or used for a different AIDR event.
