Australian Disaster Resilience Conference postponed

Given the current COVID-19 situation in NSW and restrictions on interstate travel, the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference has been postponed to 6-7 October 2021.

This week the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience, in agreement with our partner conference AFAC21 powered by INTERSCHUTZ, made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Australian Disaster Resilience Conference, given the current COVID-19 situation in NSW and restrictions on interstate travel.

After working collaboratively with the International Convention Centre Sydney and our conference partners and sponsors, we are pleased to advise that the event will now take place 6–7 October 2021.

The National Recovery Forum will be postponed until 8 October 2021.

Our priority is to bring the disaster risk, resilience and recovery community together in a safe environment to experience all that the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference has to offer. Moving to October gives us the best opportunity to make that happen.

The Australian Disaster Resilience Conference was originally scheduled for 18-19 August 2021. We thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you to Sydney in October.
